The six partner cities met in Melnik under the vision of climate consciousness. The city’s climate adaptation strategy as a good practice as well as the process of its preparation was presented within the framework of a workshop. In addition, the delegations of Gyöngyös, Lucenec, Lodygowice and Kézdivásárhely (Târgu Secuiesc) and the climate experts of Melnik discussed their own experiences and the potential shared developmental opportunities related to climate consciousness and environmental protection in the form of a round table discussion.
The professional workshop continued on Friday and Saturday at the Vintage Festival of Melnik, where the Hungarian, Polish, Slovakian, Slovenian and Transylvanian participants could have an insight into the local cultural heritage, customs and gastronomy.
